ALLAN CUP TO BE DISPLAYED NOV. 1 AT WORLD U17 HOCKEY CHALLENGE EXHIBITION GAME IN PETROLIA
The Petrolia 150 Committee, and the Town of Petrolia are pleased to announce that the Allan Cup will be on display at the Canada Red versus Sweden Exhibition Game when the World U17 Hockey Challenge visits Sarnia-Lambton.
True to the Petrolia slogan “You’ll Be Surprised”, Petrolia has done it again by making this coveted trophy available for photos on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the 7:00 p.m. game at Greenwood Recreation Centre. The Allan Cup holds many special memories for Petrolia residents and the Petrolia 150 was the perfect time to bring it to town for residents to relive the excitement of the 1979 and 1981 Petrolia Squires historic winning teams.
The Town of Petrolia and Petrolia 150 Committee extends their appreciation for the efforts that Hockey Canada and Tourism Sarnia-Lambton have undertaken to bring this exciting opportunity to Lambton County and Petrolia.
