Petrolia will be full of brightly coloured blooms once again this summer, as the Petrolia in Bloom Committee is planning and planting purple and yellow flowers for the 2023 season.
In the Spring, gardeners will begin to plan their planting beds for the season and residents are encouraged to participate in the colour palette and to have some fun.
Mayor R. Brad Loosley said, “The Town of Petrolia is always awash with brightly coloured blooms each year, and we have a team of volunteers to thank for that!”
Volunteers interested in helping the for the 2023 season are asked to call Leah Belan at (519) 882-2350. Parks Department summer students will assist the volunteers with watering and weed maintenance.
