After more than 430 pizzas were sold in 2018, Pizzafest returns to Petrolia!  Sponsors Bourque Renovations, Postmedia, Frank Cowan Insurance, Kwik Kopy Printing, Barb and Rick Charlebois welcome you to be a part of this family-friendly kick off to summer!

Pizzafest will be held June 1, 2019 in Victoria Park in downtown Petrolia.  The day will include live local music, a beer garden and of course – pizza! The event will take place between noon and 9:00 p.m. and will feature loads of family fun.  Face painting brought to you by Mainstreet Credit Union will be in the Park from noon until 5:00 p.m. and bouncy castles from noon until 7:00 p.m.!

The event will include participation from Bud’s Pizza, Godfather’s Pizza, Johnny G’s Premium Pizza Plus, Petrolia Pizza and Subs, Johnny G’s Premium Pizza Plus, and newcomer Wise Guys Inc.  A full day of music by local bands, including Borderline, The Geoff Masse Band, and Round House is being planned to celebrate the event.  Adding to the fun this year, MUDMEN will headline the extension from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  Organizers are pleased to welcome the First Petrolia Scouts to sell ice cream, and the Lambton Central Petrolia Optimist Club to sell pop and hot dogs and hamburgers and the Lions Club of Petrolia will host a 50/50 raffle!  Director of Community Services Dave Menzies said, “Our pizza vendors are all excited to be a part of the extended event! Many are excited at the prospect of serving up even more of their famous, delicious pies!”  He added, “…it was great to see families bringing lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music, and we encourage them to do the same this year.”

Entrance to the event is free and pizza slices will sell for $2.50 each.  Again, this year, monies collected above and beyond the pizza vendors’ expenses will be donated to the Petrolia Community Fund in support of enriching the community.
