Scheduled Library Closures for Fall 2017

Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library will temporarily close two of its branches this fall for facility improvements.

Oil Springs Library will be receiving fresh paint and new carpet and is scheduled to close on Thursday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m., reopening Thursday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m.  The Petrolia Library will be updating its shelving and will be closed Sunday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m. and will reopen to the public Saturday, November 4 at 9:00 a.m.

Patrons can return their materials by using the drop-off box and are encouraged to visit area branch libraries such as Brigden, Wyoming, Inwood and Shetland. Materials can be renewed by contacting these or other Lambton libraries by phone or in person, or by renewing online at www.lclibrary.ca, by accessing My Account located under My Library.

Regular hours of opening for these branches are as follows:

Oil Springs: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Petrolia: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
