Pizzafest 2018

Petrolia, ON- After smashing pizza sales records in 2017, Pizzafest returns to Petrolia!  Pizzafest will be held June 2, 2018 in Victoria Park in downtown Petrolia.  The day will include live local music, a beer garden and of course – pizza! The event will take place between noon and 7:00 p.m. and will feature loads of family fun.

The event will include participation from Streets Eatery & Pub, Bud’s Pizza, Petrolia Pizza and Subs, Johnny G’s Premium Pizza Plus and Godfather’s Pizza.  A full day of music by local bands, is being planned to celebrate the event.  Adding to the fun this year, organizers are pleased to welcome the First Petrolia Scouts to sell ice cream, and the Lambton Central Petrolia Optimist Club to sell pop and hot dogs and hamburgers and the Lions Club of Petrolia will host a 50/50 raffle!  Director of Community Services Dave Menzies said, “Last year there were over 6000 slices of pizza served during the celebration, and this year we are excited to break that record.”  He added, “…it was great to see families bringing lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music, and we encourage them to do the same this year.”

Entrance to the event is free and pizza slices will sell for $2.50 each.  Again, this year, monies collected above and beyond the pizza vendors’ expenses will be donated to the Petrolia Community Fund in support of enriching the community.
