PETROLIA RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) WEEKEND - Support our Troops October 1 & 2, 2010 www.petroliaredweekend.com The Town of Petrolia invites you to join us in a special celebration in support of our troops and their families. WEAR RED and take the opportunity to be part of our souvenir 4x6 picture, sign the banner which will be sent to the troops and attend the Juilan Austin concert at the VPP on Friday or Saturday night. Learn more about how you can support our troops and their families. Proceeds from the weekend's festivities will go to the following organizations; 1) Hero to Hero, 2) Wounded Warrior.ca, 3) Peacekeeper Park, 4) Lambton County Military Family Support Group. Congratulations to Jackie Hamilton of Marthaville who won the BX93 Hot Air Balloon ride. Jackie entered her ballott while enjoying the Town of Petrolia Hard Oil Days festival that occured July 9,10 & 11, and her name was drawn on July 19th during a regular Town Council Meeting.
Petrolia In Bloom's 2010 Colours will be Blue & Yellow Good Luck to all residents with this year's gardening displays! 
Autumn Large Pick Up Day The Autumn edition of the large pick up day for waste collection will take place on your normally scheduled collection day during the week of October 18th - 22nd. Please click here for details of acceptable items
Curb Side Recycling Information 
Click here for a list of acceptable items. Please have your waste collection and recycling at the curb by 7:00am on your collection day. Both your garbage & recycling will be collected on the same day ( route map.) If you have any questions please feel free to contact Waste Management at 1-800-665-1898.
Animal Licensing Dog Tags are available for purchase at the Municipal Office during regular business hours. When purchasing your dog tag please bring with you the completed application click here to print one. Please make sure the form is completed in full including the dogs current rabies vaccination tag #. If you no longer have a dog please contact the Municpal Office to be removed from the Animal Licensing database.
